Located in the Georgetown area of the nation’s capital, First Baptist Church, Georgetown has made disciples for Christ and ministered in the local community and beyond since 1862. Through our missions, deacons and other ministries, we have impacted the lives of those in local schools, colleges, assisted living and homeless facilities. Through our partnerships, we have aided those in disaster stricken areas in the U.S. and beyond. Our aim is to spread the gospel and love of God, locally and worldwide, and win souls for His Kingdom.
We invite you to worship with us. Sunday School starts at 9:30 a.m. and is open to all ages. The Sunday School also presents special programs throughout the year to celebrate Black History, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Graduation and Christmas.
